Michael's House
On Friday morning I went to Michael's house. We had to drive about twenty minutes to get there. When we did get there we played cricket in their garage.
After that we had our lunch, we hopped in their car and drove to where the hot laps were happening. On arriving we waited for the signal then we went and parked the car. Mrs O'Neill got into the suit that she was going to wear in the racing car. Then after she had done her 10 laps the guy who was with her asked Michael and I if we wanted to have a go in the car. Michael and I were so stoked that we said "YES."
" How was that?" said Mr O'Neill.
" Awesome". We replied.
Next we got back in their car and drove back to their house. As soon as we did get back we went inside and played rugby on their rug. We played until it was tea time for tea, we had mash potatoes, sausage and broccoli and carrot's.
After tea we went to their killing shed, to cut up a sheep. It was gross, when we cut it down the middle we saw poo!!!!
Then we went back to the house and we watched a movie called Babe.
About half way through the movie there was a power, cut. After it finished we went to bed and talked.
Next Morning Michael and I went into their kitchen to have breakfast. Then we just played till my mum came to pick me up. it was a great day.

My Speech
Many people have a dog but I have the best one! My pet dog Ruby. She is a Fox Terrior. She is white with brown spots.
Usually she is a quiet dog but doesn't like being harassed by the pup. She fights back bang, scream and chomp! Then it's quite again.
We got Ruby in August 2004. Ruby is not like other Fox terriors, they like to chase rabbits and balls. Ruby might chase the odd rabbit, but she prefers cows.
Ruby has had 3 litters of pups, and 22 puppies altogether! Ruby is a great mother. All her puppies have new homes, 2 of them are in Fordell. Some times she looks like she might miss her puppies, but then she's got me!
Ruby's day starts at 5am with my dad when it's time to go on the farm. When I am at home we run around together.
Ruby usually does what she is told, but she does like to jump up on people and she won't learn any tricks. So don't bother trying.
At the end of the day she gets a few biscuits, curls up on her grey bean bag on the back porch and has a sleep. Sometimes I'll sneak her a treat.
My dog Ruby really is the best!

Animal reasearch, New Zealand Bat By George
The New Zealand Bat is up to about 22g. It is about 7cm long. A colony of around 300 short-tailed bats was found in the Waiohine Valley of the Tararua Forest Park in the late 1990's. There are two species of short-tailed bat. The greater short-tailed bat (Mystacina robusta) was found on two islands off Stewart Island but following an invasion of ship rats, it was last sighted in 1967 and is probably extinct.

Discovered
Today NASA received information that there are life forms on Venus. George Pearce, space explorer, reported back on a satellite that he had found a new life form. This life is reported as being chubby and shiny. It appeared to be very dangerous as it had sharp teeth however George reported that it had approached him by sliding up to him . It speaks a language similar to Chinese, stated George , luckily George could speak Chinese. He asked the alien where it lived on Venus, it replied , mainly in caves. George has named it the ‘John’.
